John will next be seen in Gus Van Sant's DEAD MAN'S WIRE starring alongside Myha'la, Cary Elwes and Bill Skarsgård. He made his acting debut in the Palm d'Or winning film ELEPHANT in 2003 directed by Gus van Sant. Following this, Stacy Peralta personally selected John to play his younger self in the hit movie LORDS OF DOGTOWN starring alongside Heath Ledger and Emile Hirsch. It was directed by Catherine Hardwicke and released to critical acclaim in 2005.

Having grown up in America, John moved to France and speaks fluent French. Some of his recent credits include a guest star role in the France 4 series DARK STORIES, the Netflix mini-series LES PAPILLONS NOIRS, LA MAISON starring opposite Rossy de Palma, ON THE LINE starring opposite Mel Gibson, FUNNY BIRDS with Catherine Deneuve and Andrea Riseborough and NIKKI starring opposite Charlotte Le Bon which premiered at Cannes in 2024.
